Nick concentrates his practice in the areas of Corporate Bankruptcy and Restructuring, Bankruptcy Litigation and Corporate Litigation.

Nick’s experience includes representing debtors, financial institutions, lenders, secured and unsecured creditors, plan administrators, liquidating trustees, asset purchasers, landlords, and other parties-in-interest in cases filed under the United States Bankruptcy Code including chapter 7, chapter 11 and subchapter V.  He represents clients in a wide range of industries including: retail, food and beverage, oil and gas, and pharmaceuticals.  Nick also has represented clients in various litigation matters in the Superior Court of the State of Delaware and the Court of Chancery of the State of Delaware.

Prior to joining the firm, Nick graduated magna cum laude from Widener University Delaware Law School, where he focused his studies on corporate and business law.  While attending law school, he served as a Josiah Oliver Wolcott Fellow to the Honorable Collins J. Seitz, Jr. of the Supreme Court of the State of Delaware, a judicial intern for the Honorable Leonard P. Stark of the United States District Court for the District of Delaware and was a law clerk at a Wilmington law firm that focuses on Delaware business law.  He was also the President of the Widener Transactional Law Honor Society, senior staff on the Delaware Journal of Corporate Law, and served as the John F. Schmutz Corporate and Business Law Institute Fellow.  Nick continues to remain active with the law school, serving on the Delaware Law School Board of Advisors and as a mentor to current students and recent graduates.

Nick is admitted to practice in Delaware and is a member of the Delaware State Bar Association, Delaware Bankruptcy American Inn of Court, American Bar Association, and the American Bankruptcy Institute.  Nick is a past chair of the Young Lawyers’ Section of the Delaware State Bar Association (the “DSBA”), a member of the DSBA’s CLE Committee, and a member of the board of the Delaware Bankruptcy American Inn of Court.
