Rick Cobb discusses Building the Best of Both Worlds for the ABA’s Law Practice Today
In the March 2019 edition of the American Bar Association’s Law Practice Today (LPT) webzine, LRC co-founding partner Rick Cobb writes for the niche practices-themed issue on Building the Best of Both Worlds. In the feature, he discusses how together with Adam Landis and Dan Rath, they’ve built the niche boutique they envisioned when forming the firm over 15 years ago.
“What if you had the opportunity to practice in the area of law that you find most rewarding, virtually conflict-free, without big law administrative and political friction, in a collegial and highly professional bar, working on high-profile matters before exceptional judges in nationally (even internationally) respected courts?”, Cobb writes. The result is a boutique law firm in Wilmington, Delaware, concentrating on two niche practices: commercial bankruptcy, and corporate and commercial litigation.
LPT, a monthly online publication of the ABA’s Law Practice Division, is distributed to nearly 500,000 lawyers and law students across the globe each month. Current and past issues can be accessed at www.lawpracticetoday.com.
