In re: Brookstone Holdings Corp., Case No. 14-10752 (BLS)
LRC, as co-counsel with K&L Gates LLP, represented Brookstone Holdings Corp. and eleven of its affiliates (collectively, “Brookstone”) in their chapter 11 proceedings in the United States Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware. Brookstone is a highly differentiated product development company and multi-channel retailer operating on a global scale. LRC advised Brookstone in all aspects of its bankruptcy, including the solicitation and consideration of competing offers for the right to purchase all of the new capital stock (the “Shares”) of reorganized Brookstone Holdings Corp. issued under Brookstone’s plan of reorganization (the “Plan”) and confirmation of its Plan. LRC also participated and advised the Debtors regarding the successful auction of the Shares, increasing the aggregate purchase price by approximately $30 million. LRC negotiated and resolved numerous objections to the Plan, and served as first-chair litigation counsel in connection with various objections to the assumption of leases.
