In re: Nuverra Environmental Solutions, Inc., et al., Case No. 17-10949 (KJC)

LRC was retained as co-counsel for the Official Committee of Unsecured Creditors of Nuverra Environmental Solutions, Inc. (the “Committee”) with Kilpatrick Stockton & Townsend LLP for the bankruptcy cases of Nuverra Environmental Solutions, Inc. and its affiliates (“Nuverra”), a provider of environmental solutions and wellsite logistics management for E&P companies focusing on development and production of oil and natural gas from shale formations inside the United States. Among other things, LRC advised the Committee on Nuverra’s “first day” motions, lodging an omnibus objection to certain relief requested, and with respect to Nuverra’s combined disclosure statement and plan confirmation hearing, to which it filed a motion for reconsideration based on the status of recoveries for the Committee’s constituency.  The Committee ultimately withdrew those objections and supported Nuverra’s Plan after LRC advised the Committee during negotiations of a global resolution to increase recoveries for general unsecured creditors.  Nuverra’s Plan was confirmed on July 25, 2017.
