Matthew Pierce Presents on Federal Court Practice at Delaware Rodney Inn of Court
LRC associate Matthew Pierce recently participated in a Delaware Rodney Inn of Court panel presentation on federal court practice. Matthew provided a bankruptcy practitioner’s perspective. The panel consisted of select lawyers and judges from the United States District Court for the District of Delaware, the United States Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware and the Third Circuit Court of Appeals. Judge Eric Davis of the Delaware Superior Court served as the moderator for the program.
The mission of the American Inns of Court is to foster excellence in professionalism, ethics, civility, and legal skills for judges, lawyers, academicians, and students of the law in order to perfect the quality, availability and efficiency of justice in the United States. The Richard S. Rodney Inn of Court was founded in 1985, named in honor of Judge Richard S. Rodney who served for 24 years as an Associate Judge of the State of Delaware and for 17 years as a United States District Court Judge for the District of Delaware.
