Kim Brown Named Finalist for IWIRC “Rising Star” Award
Wilmington, DE (September 8, 2017): LRC Associate Kimberly Brown has been named one of five finalists for the International Women’s Insolvency and Restructuring Confederation (IWIRC) 2017 “Rising Star” award.
Kim, the current Chair of IWIRC’s Delaware Chapter, concentrates her practice in the areas of Corporate Bankruptcy and Restructuring and Bankruptcy Litigation representing chapter 11 debtors, official and unofficial committees, financial institutions, secured lenders and other secured creditors, indenture trustees and bondholders, asset purchasers, liquidating trusts and other significant creditors, chapter 15 foreign representatives, and other parties in interest in a variety of national bankruptcy cases.
IWIRC, the premier international, networking and professional growth organization for women in the restructuring and insolvency industries, will present the award during their 24th Annual Fall Conference in Las Vegas, Nevada, on October 8, 2017. The IWIRC Rising Star Award is bestowed upon an IWIRC member with 8 or less years of experience in her respective field; who has made considerable contributions to her professional success and displayed a high-level of commitment to advancing IWIRC’s mission-enhancing the professional status of women in the insolvency and restructuring profession-at the local, national and international levels.
Finalists were chosen from nominees from IWIRC networks around the world that include attorneys, bankers, turnaround advisors, claims and noticing agents and other restructuring industry consultants and professionals who are actively engaged in the restructuring industry.
