LRC Recognized for Jumio and Quicksilver Restructuring Deals in 11th Annual M&A Advisor Turnaround Awards
New York, NY (January 30, 2017): The M&A Advisor announced today that Landis Rath & Cobb LLP is the recipient of awards in two categories of the 11th Annual M&A Advisor Turnaround Awards—for the Restructuring Community Impact Deal of the Year (Restructuring of Jumio, Inc.) and the Restructuring Deal of the Year (over $1B to $5B) for the Chapter 11 Reorganization of Quicksilver Resources, Inc. The awards will be presented at a Black Tie Gala on Thursday, March 23, 2017 at the Colony Hotel, Palm Beach, FL.

The nominations, representing over 300 participating companies, were judged by an independent jury of industry experts.
In Jumio, LRC served as lead restructuring counsel in its chapter 11 proceedings in the United States Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware. The LRC team included Adam Landis, Kerri Mumford and Kimberly Brown.
For Quicksilver, LRC served as co-counsel to the Official Committee of Unsecured Creditors’ in Quicksilver Resources, Inc. et al.’s bankruptcy cases in the United States Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware.
