Practice Areas: Corporate Bankruptcy and Restructuring and Bankruptcy Litigation
Joe concentrates his practice in the areas of Corporate Bankruptcy and Restructuring and Bankruptcy Litigation. Joe has experience representing corporate clients in chapter 11 cases, including debtors, secured lenders, official and unofficial committees, asset purchasers, liquidating trusts, and other significant creditors and parties in interest in a variety of bankruptcy cases. Joe has represented clients in the United States Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware, the United States District Court for the District of Delaware, and the Delaware Court of Chancery.
Joe is admitted to practice in Delaware and Pennsylvania. He is a member of the American Bankruptcy Institute, the Delaware Bankruptcy American Inn of Court, the Richard S. Rodney Inn of Court, and the Delaware State Bar Association. Joe graduated from University of Delaware in 2007 and Widener University School of Law in 2010. Prior to joining Landis Rath & Cobb, Joe served as a judicial law clerk to The Honorable Jerome O. Herlihy and The Honorable Peggy L. Ableman of the Delaware Superior Court. While in law school, he worked full time in the Delaware Court of Common Pleas for The Honorable Eric M. Davis and The Honorable Andrea L. Rocanelli. Prior to attending law school, Joe was a risk analyst in the wholesale marketing division of Exelon Corporation, one of the nation’s largest electric utility companies.
